How often should you change a plus-size period brief?

We recommend changing your period underwear after 8 hours or when it begins to feel damp. How often you need to change it also depends on your individual bleeding intensity. Period underwear as a period product is more comfortable for many people to wear than cloth pads, cotton pads, or overnight pads, and the absorbent layer does not feel diaper-like. A major advantage, especially for girls and during their first menstrual bleeding: Nothing needs to be inserted into the intimate area, and it looks like a normal brief.

Period panties in plus sizes: How should they be washed and cared for?

Rinse your femtis period brief by hand with cold water after wearing it. Make sure that all the blood has been completely rinsed out. You can tell by the water running clear. This is especially important because it prevents permanent stains.

You can then either wash it immediately or after briefly air-drying it in the washing machine at a temperature of up to 60 degrees. To prolong the life of the fabrics, we recommend washing at 40 degrees. Ideally, use a mesh laundry bag to protect the panties. Then leave them to air-dry, and your underwear is ready to wear again.

Please do not use fabric softener, put them in the dryer, or iron the panties, as this could damage the absorbency of the period panties. If needed, you can use a laundry sanitizer.
